ACCORDING TO AP,China blocked YouTube today, after videos were posted showing the protests in the Tibetan capital of Lhasa on Friday, against the ongoing Chinese occupation. China’s state controlled media had not reported the violent riots in Tibet, but the government was obviously not quick enough to muzzle YouTube before Chinese surfers got wind of what was going on. On Saturday, the first images appeared online, along with video streamed foreign news reports, photos, and commentary. ...

ABIT IS BACK and from the look of it, healthier than ever. If you were wondering whether or not they would be around in 2008, the answer is yes, and they have a bunch of new products to prove it.
The second biggest shock is that the outfit is going to do GPUs again,. It had the first two on display at the show. Abit is starting on the low end and working its way up, probably due more to NV partner rules than anything else, so they were showing the N8500GT2 and the N8600GT2. Nothin...

While most Taiwan-based IC design houses saw a sequential drop in their February revenues, small- to medium-size LCD driver IC designer Orise Technology enjoyed revenue growth of 13.5% on month. One reason Orise's revenues were up in February was that its major clients Wintek and AU Optronics (AUO) adopted a new "zero inventory" policy for purchasing, meaning that sales are only taken into account if delivery was made in that month. Therefore, while Orise had recognized sales of NT$34...
